Red Maples are the most common tree here at Elderberry Acres, their canopy provides the perfect amount of shade for me to grow young seedling plants. These trees are a keystone species here in the northeast and I definitely see the effects of the habitat they provide to the native wildlife here. A few weeks every year in the spring these giants put on a show by releasing their seeds to the wind. I have always loved watching the helicopter like maple seeds (samaras) twirl slowly to the ground to try to start a new generation of trees.

Note: Tiny 5 packs are very small trees. I only offer these because i have an abundance of small red maple and think these maybe useful to someone for bonsai or if someone wants to grow these out before they go in a permanent site.
