Caution:  Honey Locust make great street and landscape trees but those trees are often grafted to ensure no thorns form. I would only get this tree if you know the potential for thorns and you know your site can handle it if they form. Although I select seeds from only a thornless variety, seedling Honey Locust will always have a small chance to develop large thorns.
